I think gymnastics is a sport of agility, elegance and sometimes strict.
In gym there are four elements:
floor exercises- is a square in the floor where you do a choreography with music.
In this element you work the streching.
balance beam- you do stretching exercicses. You only have 70 seconds to do the choreography in the balance deam. In this element you work the balance.
vault- you run 7 or 10 meters and when you are on the trampoline you jump and fall on a mat.
In this element you work legs strength.
parallels- is a lower and upper rod where you do differents exercises.
In this element you work arms strength.
But in a competition you only do floor exercises,balncebeam and vault. And on all elements there is a judge to evaluate you.
